This slow paced class focuses on alignment and stationary poses. Each class includes pranayama, meditation and poses appropriate for the season and designed to foster your natural state of perfect health. This class is appropriate to all levels of practice, modifications and props are offered to bring accessibility to the practice.
This class uses the principles of Ayurveda, Classical Hatha Yoga, Integrated Positional Therapy, and functional movement techniques to foster the body's own desire for balance and Homeostasis. Group therapeutic yoga classes include Pranayama (breath awareness), meditation and Asana (physical practice) aimed at bringing the body, mind and spirit into optimal alignment, fostering vitality, resilience and a fully embodied life. Y12SR The Yoga of 12 Step Recovery
Combining the somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach of the 12-step recovery model, the yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) is a holistic model designed to address the physical, mental and spiritual disease and addiction.
