Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) Sunday August 19th 3-4PM $16 Drop in or Class card Led by Anne Hylden, RYT 200 Learn to be awake yet asleep with Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep). Yogic Sleep is a deep relaxation exercise that offers your mind and body a path to balance. This class will guide you through releasing muscular, emotional, and mental tension. The goal is a greater inner awareness of your body, your states of consciousness, and how how your mind manages your body. Benefits include relaxation of the heart, skeletal muscles, and nervous system, reduction of stress and stress-related diseases, and deep conscious rest that reduces the need for sleep. Yoga Nidra techniques are excellent for students of all levels and ages.
Holistic Recovery Immersion Saturday August 18th 11AM-6PM $44 Donation. Proceeds benefit Urban Outreach Project Holistic Recovery from addiction offers long term freedom, by addressing the individual as whole, rather than the substance or behavior that they have become addicted to. This day long immersions includes a trauma sensitive yoga practice and in-depth discussions of meditation, nutrition, spiritual and physical wellness. Led by Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Blakey Hastings. Proceeds benefit the Urban Outreach Project, a non-profit dedicated to bringing yoga to underserved communities and treatment facilities.

This class discusses the benefits of using essential oils as part of your healthy lifestyle and several top brands available. Learn how Essential oils support healthy digestion, restful sleep and natural relaxation. Please feel free to bring your own, and you will have the opportunity to smell the Young Living oils that we use here at the studio. These classes are FREE, pre-registration is recommended. Beginners Series Begins September 13th Led by Heather Sizemore, RYT200 Whether you are brand new to Yoga, returning to your mat or want to deepen your understanding of fundamental Yoga Poses and Techniques; This series is for you. This 6 week course will teach you basic pranayama techniques, foundations of the 5 groups of poses (standing, forward bends, backbends, twists, and inversions), and the skills to link your breath with movement. We will also cover beginning meditation techniques and tips for modifying your practice so that you will leave prepared to participate in any group class offered at any Yoga Studio.
Breathe & Relax Family Meditation Coming in September $16 Drop in or class card Families that meditate together stay together. Children tend to copy the behaviors of their parents so starting them on a meditation journey is as simple as leading by example. This relaxing family meditation is fun and playful and focuses on creating rituals to enhance communication and reduce stressful situations at home. Your kids will learn how to focus on their breath, play mindful games and learn how to meditate (age appropriately). This class is ideal for parents/caregivers and children 5-10 years.
